This page covers the privacy controls you have in Kaer and how to ask for your data or for account deletion. Your conversations, files and task data stay in your account. Deleting a chat or task removes it.
Choose whether your chats help improve Kaer
Help improve Kaer is off unless you turn it on.
Open the setting
Go to Settings → Tracking & Analytics.
Decide
Turn Help improve Kaer on or off.
When it is on, Kaer can use chats from tasks you start after switching it on to improve the product and train Kaer's own models. Copies have personal details stripped but stay linked to your account, so you can have them deleted. Chats from before you switch it on are never used. They are never used to train other companies' models.
Switching it off stops collection at once. Anything already prepared for training drops out within four weeks.
Turn memory on or off
Memory in Settings → AI lets Kaer remember details from your chats and reuse them later. Turn it off if you do not want that.
Export your data or delete your account
Write to the privacy team
Email [email protected] from the address you sign in with. Say whether you want a data export or account deletion.
Confirm it is you
Kaer may verify your identity or authority before acting on the request.
Wait for the reply
Requests under GDPR and UK GDPR are generally answered within one month.
Content in a team workspace belongs to that workspace. Ask the workspace owner about it.
Disconnect what you connected
Removing a connector stops Kaer using that account. Mail credentials are deleted when you disconnect a mailbox or delete your account. See Connectors.
